I was at the Golden Gloves Thursday in Manhattan I saw alot of 201+ novice fights.
Gary Burrell won the 201+ novice Metros he looked good in his win that night also.
He has to be the favorite.

Just for fun I'm picking these guys to win this year lol...(open)...

123- Titus Williams
132- Marcos Suarez
141- Patrick Day or Carlos Teron
152- Tyrone James
165- Herve Duroseau
178- Marcus Browne
201- Hmm...Joseph Williams or Frederick Samuels...
201+ - Roberto Morban

Wouldn't mind hearing anyone else's opinions...seems like only 2-3 actually post in here
I got
132-Louis Cruz
141-Carlos Teron

I got Devaun Lee in the 178, he's got a new trainer it's his time this year

I give DeVaun a good shot if he doesn't meet Marcus until the Finals...Marcus stopped him last year but who's know what wudda happened if Marcus didn't catch him...

Marcus can be real sloppy at times and seems to get frustrated easily...if DeVaun boxes him he COULD win...

I still like Freddy P(Samuels) at 201...if he just lets his hand go(has nice handspeed for a heavy) he can win...

Haven't seen Freddy yet but sounds like they would be a good match-up as Joseph gets it in too
would that be a finials match-up or before.
