Current fighting weights!!!!!

Post by stevek3lly »

Me and a friend were chatting recently about what weight division we would be in if we were fighters. It got me thinking and eventually I weighed myself and found that I would actually be a cruiser weight at 13st7lb.

Only problem is, I am only 5ft6in and probably should be no more than light welter, so think that actually tells me I am slightly out of shape a bit, haha.

So over to the forum, what are you like.

Current = ??????
Should be = ???????

96.8 pounds or 6 stone 9. How old are you, 12?

I'm 12 stone 7 or 175 pounds so light heavy and 5"10. When I was 19 and at Uni I was 9 stone or 126 pounds.

Gone from super feather to light heavy in 17 years. I expect I'll be a heavyweight in the next 17 years!

I am 5'8 and I weigh 182lbs. If I were a fighter I'd hope to be 140lbs though, perhaps lightweight.

i weigh in at 13st on the dot so off the top of my head that makes me light heavy, but once i can motivate myself to start training again i should fall into super middle weight.

5'9" and not fat lol

i was 9 stone 9 in 1990 (aged 20) and am 12 stone 7 now (aged 40); lots less fit, short of breath etc; 5 foot 9 inch tall, heavier build on shoulders with a fat head ha ha :(

If i really tried and dieted etc I could get to 11 stone 7 realistically, but it'd take determination that put men on the moon.

Sounds similar to me but mines a bit worse

I boxed as a teen at a weight that would i think be superfeather or lightweight now (cant remember what the exact weight was as it was in kg but it was around 9 and half stone)

Im 5ft 9 and im now 30 years old and weigh in at 14 stone , i get it down to about 12 stone and then it just gradually goes back up which makes me feel like i just cant be bothered to make the effort now , and its annoying as im a white collar promotor and i always say if i could get to under 11 stone or possibly 10 and a half stone id fight on my own show but ive just not got that drive anymore .
I know exactly where my weight started to come on from though , i had an insatiable appetite for bread for some reason and had a bit of a thing for drinking 3 or 4 red bulls a day a few years ago , add this to the fact that as a teen i was desperate to put weight on as at boxing i was the only one my weight who was my age so i had to keep sparring a heavyweight and getting knocked down which really effed up my in ring confidence .

I'm 6'2" and weigh 170 (12 stone 2). If I was in top condition I would probably be about 160. In that case, I would drain to get to 154 or possibly 147.

6ft 3 (and a smidgen)

Normally between 14 and 15 stone with no training.

If a pro: down to Light-heavy?

Col :)

6,1 92kg's or 202.5pounds. I could take a shit and make cruiser

An ideal fighting weight for me would probably be 160/168 draining down from 175ish. Considering when I was 20 I was 298pounds it's not too bad. Still want to get the weight down a bit.

6'1" and weigh 11st. So would be a light-middle. I'm one of those people that seem to be able to eat as much of anything I want and stay the same weight!

You are Rodney Trotter, and I claim my £5 prize.

6 2", 98kg.........broad shouldered, always wondered what would be an ideal fighting weight. And seeing as though I have an opportunity at doing some white collar soon, maybe you boys could give me a pointer?

Simon Fox could get down to flyweight if he ever put his wallet down.
