Was Tszyu's jaw actually broken?

I know Sky reported on Sunday that it was, I haven't actually seen it written anywhere. Cheers

I think I read Lewis saying somewhere that the jaw was injured, if not broken, in fact, in the press release from the Tszyu camp. He didn't take that many flush shots, but it could be why his mouth was gaping open.

I do wonder how much that Thunderous shot to the danglers took out of Tszyu, I know protective cups are very good these days, but that really was right on the family spanglers.

Yeah, he didn't really make much of it though, didn't really take along break.

I watched the tape on sunday night, although by the time of the low blow Hatton had taken control, Tszyu did seem to deteriorate more rapidly afterwards

Think he deserved it myself. He caught Hatton with two, Rich just settled the score.

fighters never do though, they are entitled to what is it, 5 minutes maximum, but they never take that long.

His jaw is ok , although Zoo is saying the low blow took it out of him and was hard to recover from. Still its his own fault Always said when i was boxing , and later has a trainer , if they hit low hit em back twice if they butt once butt them twice.

Got disqualified once, opponent butted me , was near the end of rnd, I went into a clinch and butted him back , Ref warned us both and bell went , after the break i came running out the corner and launched myself at him butted him again, and got disqulifiedm, few months later fouhgt the guy again and told him and his trainer if he gets dirty again i'll butt him back, and follow it with a kick in the nuts.
Told them in no uncertain trms it was up to them but this time even its clean or we can sink the boots in has well. It was clean
Should of kept my fackin mouth shut the prick beat me ha ha

I have often wondered why more don't take advantage but i suppose that even though they are getting a rest so is there opponent.

Two things I have noticed about fights

1) Never take full advantage of the 5 minute rule unless they think they can win by DQ - Remember Honeyghun vs that Korean.

2) Fighters who don't want know more and want to be counted out always get up straight after the ref counts 10. Something I have found particularly odd, it makes you look like you have quit.
