Hatton was already scheduled to fight alverez for the silver title anyway. So whats wrong with stepping the fight up to a world title fight if the belt is available.

If they are going to have a silly silver status then they have to put it to use.

I wish Mathew Hatton luck, as he seems like a nice fella.That being said, there is no way he deserves it above Ryan Rhodes, wjho is world class, and earnt his no.1 spot in the ranking, only for it to be taken away from him, which I find appaulling.Is there any room for team Rhodes to sue the WBC and force them to give him his shot.He deserves one, and is good enough to win it.

Has anyone seen Twenty Six, as I've not heard from him for a while, and a) I miss reading his comments and b) would love to know his thoughts on this situation.

I agree but i did also read that the intention of the WBC is for the winner to face the manditory next, which i think is rhodes anyway.
