It's worth asking the question. I've had refunds before when the bill has changed. Might be a bit tight though with getting the tickets back but there is special delivery.

Couple of interesting points....

Went on allegedly.tv when I heard Cook was out to see if there was an official word. There wasn't and Gavin v Cook was still being used to sell tickets for the show. Fair enough, given that it had just been announced, so there may not have been time to update the website. I checked back a few hours later and it was still being used, but a new story had been added to the main page (something promoting the Cleverly fight), but Gavin v Cook was still being used. I even clicked the links and was able to buy tickets (I didn't). Checking back this morning, it is the same, another new story has also been added. This is extraordinarily poor, in my opinion, as a fight that is known not to be happening is being used to sell tickets.

My second point is that as of 1st March 2011, online advertising and marketing comes under the remit of the Advertising Standards Agency. So while we have been forced to put up with "ambitious" marketing coupled with last minute bill changes covered by the safety net of "bill subject to change", I wonder whether increased regulation and scrutiny may force some of these practices to be sharpened up.

Its invariably the situation with his website and to be blunt thats why they get up peoples noses, if you are going to have a website then put the poxy news on there as well as the good stuff, let the public make the decision if they still want to buy tickets, you would get a lot more respect from the boxing public and perhaps even words of support and encouragement.

I believe most of us on here are considered to talk bollocks and know little, well I tell you what, we knew the fight was off yesterday and we know its off today, someone give Frank a bell and let him know. Unusual for me to have a rant but he makes his own problems and bad publicity, it ain't rocket science, tell people the truth, you get respect for that in my book, problems happen in life just be honest about it.
