Mark is looking decent in the MMA division, obviously his wrestling is 2nd to his boxing, but he is still packing good power in those fists and earning decent coin by the looks of things.

Until he gets put in with a decent wrestler or bjj guy and gets mauled/arm barred to death!Good luck to him though

How much are these guys actually on though rhino?
Read read somewere that the big names in the sport are on buttons compared to the highest earning boxers.
Think silva and lesnarr get around 1.2 million per fight which is obviously a lot of money but peanuts in comparison to boxings big earners.
Would be great if mark was making a good living from it,will never forget his epic with williams.
Didn't he used to own a pub in london?

It depends on the organisation mate,ie the ufc are pretty stringent when it comes to testing fighters, etc but in certain organisations in japan the fighters dont get tested at all and theres alot of fighters that ply there trade in japan that people think are on steroids.

I hope marks fights are a bit more competitive than his unlicensed fights. I'm not joking. Some of his opponents were tiny with little boxing experience. There could well have been severe injury's. Not every cage fighting show is that great either, I actually had a cage fight , which I won in the first & never been near a cage before or since! Mark can fight , I just hope they don't put him in with no hopers coz someone will get hurt

x 2,you'd have to be mental to want to get in a cage with a pro or ex pro boxer if you have no fighting experience anyway! That or completely deluded in your fighting abilities!

i do (well did) a bit of mma and i think a boxer could do very well on the british circuit - not sure about money wise. Alot less wrestling and ju-jitsu and alot more boxing and kick boxing is involved. At the gym where i trained 80% of the guys were from a boxing or kick boxing back ground including me.

The UFC on the other hand is the opposite due to wrestling being a high school sport and elite for elite the guy with the boxing background would not do that well on the US circuit.

Well it depends on your ambitions i guess,if you just want to make abit of money and you dont want to achieve anything in all honesty then just stick with the uk scene i guess

Not that many boxers on 1.2 mill a fight to be honest. Plus, they box 12x3 minute rounds. Lot more blunt-force trauma involved in boxing as main target is head.

its only the elite guys in the ufc and big draws that get 1.2 million though.

Hate the fact that he's doing mma, hated the fact he did unlicesened and ain't seen him fight in either. Only missed the fight against the french geezer Palatis and the Mccafferty 3rd fight in the whole of his pro career though. That pub in Walthamstow was a shithole and everyone looked like a wanna be eastlondon gangster prick in the skyone show though! I wasn't in it and Rhino I hope you wasn't too.

i will choke him out & bring him to his senses for you :DD

thing is yid, he is a strong man & in mma his bull strength is a massive asset where as in boxing it is pretty limited.

It's a shame because he would knock out most of these limited heavyweights now.
