The same happened with the short notice debacle for the kell brook and Craig Watson fights. Warren just seems to want to catch everyone off guard. I personally hope that he gets the call and tips it bollocks, and the show gets cancelled. Then perhaps this sort of thing might stop. I cant understand the mind games. These sort of fighters are supposed to be world beaters, so why all the silly antics.
Agree with you, I think Gavin is special but having said that Lomax is a decent boxer in his own right and could still manouveure himself into contention for a decent fight with some notice without
having to take a 36 hour job which this fight becomes tomorrow morning. Still guess we will know the answer in about 15 minutes

Thanks for the updates though its much appreciated

Lets hope Barry is on the phone getting him a good deal, be interested to hear when he finally hears mate and whether its an 8 10 or 12 round fight.

gavin said earlier its 12 rounds, but tbh i dont care if both the fights are over 10 or 12 and if there for titles or not ! as long as the show happens and gets televised everyone should be happy, and really lomax is to thank for keeping the show alive ! :TU:

I'd like to take my hat off to Frankie, he has (in the last few months) brought more information to this forum than any promoter has. Maybe it's his age (new tech era etc) or maybe he's just a down right down to earth fella that calls a spade a spade, either way he's helped this forum become a leader in boxing forums. Nomne of the I'm the boxer/promoter/ what do you know interent warrior shite just honest opinions and real ture hard facts everytime. Fair play to you Frankie, you'll wim fans this way too, not everyione goes to the shows many watch online etc.

On the show it has become a bit of a shambles and if it does go ahead it will be a pointless title bout, would we rather see a good area bout etc of a shambles of a "title" fight just to have SKY tick all the boxes ??

Boxing is becoming a SKY viewer only sport now, I have Virgin and don't get Premier sports or pay for SKY sports (2 hours of boxing a week for £25 quid why bother) so where should I get my boxing fix ??? Live shows ? or the internet ?

While the WBU may no longer be an option, why don't we just go retro and assign a vacant WBO Intercontinental belt to every Sky-televised fight, like they used to in the late 90s-early 00s. :TU:
