He can make weight, he is just hoping there is a spot available for him, he may have left it a bit late to put his name forward as he was waiting to see how an injury healed.

Cessaire, was seen recently on Fox sports putting the hurt on Killer Steve Maxwell. I lost money to a mate on that fight, he's got a good chin.

Im hopeing this is sucessfull so it will go through to the other divisions. Can only be good for aussie boxing.Im also thinking some of the boxers named have had some chanchers to impress on pay tv and at there own venuies, so my thoughts  are give the young guys a go 10 fights and less.

Colin, Only time will tell and like you, I am hoping the show will be successful and the fight fans will get something a little different and interesting.

I think the format will see some good fights and the finals will be determined by, not just who wins the most fights, but who is more effective in winning the fights, ie: by ko stoppage, etc etc.

Anyway, the draw for the show is today and as soon as i know, I will enter them into the schedule and let you guys be the judge as to whether the draw will bring out the comptitiveness between the fighters, irrespective of their records and ratings.

Cheers mate, hope the young fella is going well

Ok guys, I the draw for this series has now been completed, and the first round events will be:

All 6x3 rounds

Jimmy James v Alex Ahtong

Jason Kanofski v Todd Kidd

Tim Hunt v Matthew Paulley

Bobby Antonakos v Evan Themelakis

Rivan Cessaire v Chad Roy Naidu, (already up on schedule)

I am sure this will cause some further debate in here, I see it them as all pretty competitive fights, James v Ahtong will be agood stoush, Also, Kanofski v Kidd will be a close hard tussle, as will Matty Paulley v Timmy Hunt

What do you guys think?

Kidd UD Kanofski, not real sure this is the result of this fight, but olympic pedegree.....a tough one.
Paulley UD Hunt
Ahtong KO Jimmy James R3
Themelakis UD Hemming.......no idea just a guess.

Ist round was completed last night, with the next round being televised on 1HD.

Some surprises there.
