Re: Gavin vs lomax
if fw wants more fights he has to put his fighters on other promotors shows cause he hasnt got the shows to put his fighters on that often

Gavin should be looking at the British next fight. He'll win it with ease imo.
Re: Gavin vs lomax
yep i do still fancy williams ya know, the thing is with lomax there is he was on his backfoot from the start had too much respect for gavin if williams and gavin do meet we all know williams will not be on the backfootjBacca wrote:Aye.lefty wrote:Williams would get his head boxed off!jBacca wrote: Still fancy Williams?

Loved the way he took his time, picked his shots, used his head movement and still got some good rounds under his belt.
Fair play to lomax aswell he dug deep for along time
Any room in that fan club lefty?

Re: Gavin vs lomax
In my eyes, Gavin is better off the backfoot. As I've said, am a Williams fan, I just feel Gavin would dominate him. He is too light on the feet and has awesome reflexes. Williams isn't quick enough to land on Gavin (imo).fasteddie wrote:yep i do still fancy williams ya know, the thing is with lomax there is he was on his backfoot from the start had too much respect for gavin if williams and gavin do meet we all know williams will not be on the backfootjBacca wrote:Aye.lefty wrote: Williams would get his head boxed off!

Re: Gavin vs lomax

Re: Gavin vs lomax

Re: Gavin vs lomax
I agree that williams wouldnt give gavin an easy fight from a stylistic point of view but i dont think williams would have the power to really overwhelm frankie with his come forward style to be honest.fasteddie wrote:put it this way i bet you gavin and williams wont happen cause fw will take gavin i different route rather than fight williams
Re: Gavin vs lomax
With all due respect to Williams, I think he's beneath Gavin, and Gavin doesn't need to prove anything by fighting him.fasteddie wrote:put it this way i bet you gavin and williams wont happen cause fw will take gavin i different route rather than fight williams
I'd be getting Gavin in with Daws now, and then move him on to bigger things.
Probably best thing for Williams if the fight doesn't happen. Gavin will be moved on quickly from the domestic scene (you'd think so anyway), and Williams will have a better chance of claiming the British.

He's on now mate, looking too much for Theopane in my eyes.lefty wrote:Did daws win tonight?jBacca wrote:With all due respect to Williams, I think he's beneath Gavin, and Gavin doesn't need to prove anything by fighting him.fasteddie wrote:put it this way i bet you gavin and williams wont happen cause fw will take gavin i different route rather than fight williams

Re: Gavin vs lomax
ive always said win or lose gavin would have had probably the toughest fight in the pro game to date if the fight came off but it wouldnt be as easy as some on here say,but its too big a domestic clash for it to be a small amount pay day for either so it would have to be a title eliminator or for the title itselflefty wrote:I agree that williams wouldnt give gavin an easy fight from a stylistic point of view but i dont think williams would have the power to really overwhelm frankie with his come forward style to be honest.fasteddie wrote:put it this way i bet you gavin and williams wont happen cause fw will take gavin i different route rather than fight williams

Sorry mate but that is boll0cks.fasteddie wrote:put it this way i bet you gavin and williams wont happen cause fw will take gavin i different route rather than fight williams
Gavin doesn't need protecting from anyone on the British scene.
If Frankie's team think that Williams is a worthwhile fight as part of Gavin's development, they will make it.
Re: Gavin vs lomax
i think fw has gavins route to the british title mapped out and if he wants the lonsdale he will have to fight probably wright ,williams and maybe a rematch with daws if he wins the british beltjBacca wrote:With all due respect to Williams, I think he's beneath Gavin, and Gavin doesn't need to prove anything by fighting him.fasteddie wrote:put it this way i bet you gavin and williams wont happen cause fw will take gavin i different route rather than fight williams

Re: Gavin vs lomax
If he wants the Lonsdale, then I'd make the fight with the highest ranked challengers. You've probably just named them all.fasteddie wrote:i think fw has gavins route to the british title mapped out and if he wants the lonsdale he will have to fight probably wright ,williams and maybe a rematch with daws if he wins the british beltjBacca wrote:With all due respect to Williams, I think he's beneath Gavin, and Gavin doesn't need to prove anything by fighting him.fasteddie wrote:put it this way i bet you gavin and williams wont happen cause fw will take gavin i different route rather than fight williams

Re: Gavin vs lomax
whats happened to david barnes isnt he fighting no more? if he was still on the scene he would be a good challenge to anyone in the top ten
Re: Gavin vs lomax
frankie makes williams look silly imo williams style plays into frankies strenghts, frankie wouldn't lose a round!fasteddie wrote:ok its boll0x, but i KNOW dfifferentTerribleTerry wrote:Sorry mate but that is boll0cks.fasteddie wrote:put it this way i bet you gavin and williams wont happen cause fw will take gavin i different route rather than fight williams
