Maloney Still No1 with the big boys

Post by dapug »

It looks as though Maloney still knows the heavyweights and he kept hold of the right one in McDermott who crushed Larry the lamb tonight in devastating fashion after Larry left little Frank earlier in the year. Well done Frank.

I reckon Frank will throw Big John in with Tom Dallas soon, if not next.

Dallas would suffer the same fate although it would be more competitive.

I think Big John would be good for Tom, but not sure on the other way around!! Big John wouldnt climb anywhere beating Tom would he?? On the other hand Tom would jump up the rankings!! Big John vs sexton maybe? Tom vs Rogie??

He deserves a crack at the British, the guy is so unlucky! If Chisora vacates then him and Fury for the vacant title maybe? Or Sexton for the Commonwealth?

Totally agree, John deserves a shot, I wrote him off tonight, but Larry just looked clueless and McDermott took full advantage.

i sparred with john a couple of years ago and fair play he never took the piss with me, i realised he was a class act with his little shots on the inside and trying to hit him with the jab was a hard task he is very skillfull and tonight i think he looked like he belived is a good fighter so hopefully now he'll get that british title

Frank hid in Valuev's coat pocket for a quick kip and awoke in Russia, where he saw Valuev eating a whole village for breakfast, before slurping an entire lake.

He then saw Valuev fraternizing with the 'ogre underworld' and thought better of getting involved with the Russian mafia.

He just decided to call it a day. I believe he was undefeated in over 20 fights under my guidance it was a lot to do with boxing politics and he got offered a position back home by the government. To this day i believe he could have won the world title. He had one of the best jabs i had seen on a heavyweight,He just got home sick as well was a national hero back home and wanted for nothing.

Frank, other then Lewis who was the best heavy you've managed? Potentially or otherwise? I always remember Ruiz coming through back in the 90's- he was so different to the fighter we saw in with Holyfield etc- the best thing about him was his safety first approach and jab. :o
