Larry - McDermott - Did anyone see it?

It's about striking the balance, that's why I am quite interested in Frank's opinion!!! I would have put him in with a big hard lump who may have taken him 10 rounds!

But at 32 I think Mr Warren wanted to see what he had

People forget i made Larry's first ten fights so i know what level his opponent were and i ask the bbbof c to make this fight when both fighter were with me as John was coming of a lost and Larry was the new kid on the block and at 32 you need to know how far he could go. I believe that FW team believed that Larry would do to John what Matt Seklton did. John knew this was his last chance, I have all ways said the only trouble with Big John is he does not believe in himself but tonight he left that dressing room with that belief in himself and it paid of. Now the question is can they bring Larry back.

so where does john go from here...dallas or price?

Neither i imagine!Dallas would get exposed like larry and as for price i dont think he's ready for that step up yet

Dallas and Price are at a higher standard than Larry. I wouldn't base how they'd do on the Larry fight tonight, it lasted about a minute.

I'd fancy Price to knock McDermott out. McDermott would plough forward and Price would pick him off.

he could definately carry his hand a little higher but dont forget with the level of fighter h e has had, he wont of minded walking through some shots. Morris being the prime example.
