Aye.

Gavin should be looking at the British next fight. He'll win it with ease imo.
yep i do still fancy williams ya know, the thing is with lomax there is he was on his backfoot from the start had too much respect for gavin if williams and gavin do meet we all know williams will not be on the backfoot
I'm better on the back foot ur see in time.

cant fault frankie tonight but lomax looked like he'd been locked in a sauna overnight & let out to get in the ring & was as dead as a door nail :!:
i was intrested in what big frank had to say. at first he said british then said a couple more first as i think he wants too see gavin looking on fire at 10st first before he gives him daws.
& how did he get a nose bleed???

Gavin was faultless tonight, really reminds me on a late in the career Sweet Pea, with not a lot of lateral movement but lots of upper body movement and very forceful with the jab and body shots and lovely combinations! Superb performance by Gavin I would like to see him in with Lightning Lenny now :TU: good test for him

Gavin really stepped upto the mark tonight. I am really confident he is much more than a domestic fighter. Get him in for the british next and then keep stepping him up, he is that good.

Lomax looked like he had gone through Prizefighter x 4 before he started, lifeless display.

Hopefully Frankie can have a 70/30 fight where the oppo genuinely believes he can win. These 90/10 fights will soon become a bit stifling given that he (you) clearly are happy with your offence.

at least Lomax didnt fall over for him, made him work for it a bit. I was expecting it to be a bit closer but i think even a fully prepped Lomax would have lost after seeing that, first time ive properly seen Gavin fight live.

funny that it was announced as middleweight when both weighed in at welter? maybe that was just the MC fcuking up, again. If the next fight isnt a domestic one I'd like to see him fight Lauri, or maybe Barrera, although that would IMO be just another run-out, so that goes bottom of the list.

Good performance from Gavin, for sure, but it was a predicatable one from the off, really- I switched off at about round 4 and went out, as it seemed a foregone conclusion by then.

But Lomax is a good domestic fighter and Gavin made him look average in there, he has the ability to go all the way!

Have a word with Frank, Frankie, before Theophane gets back on his plane, should be able to get a fight with him around May/June time for the British belt, failing that if he gives it up, it could be you and Daws for the vacant belt, be nice if you get Theophane though, jump the world rankings at the same time, he is ranked quite highly by one of them I believe.

Good performance last night, although hurting your hands seems to be an problem for you, dont end up like Joe for christs sake, although what he achieved with broken hands was pretty decent!!!!!

Well, yeah we know that Gavin is a level above Lomax - Lomax has very much found his level already from the Kell Brook fight

Whilst this was a great performance from Gavin, it's not really told us anything we didn't already know.

Also, the late notice won't have helped for Lomax.

Lomax had the same notice as Gavin, they were both in training for a fight that night.Lomax was not a bad opponent at this stage of Gavin's career whatever way you look at it.He has to move through the levels.I personally dont think Daws or Theopane will tell us anything we dont already know about Frankie but that doesnt mean he should bypass the British.I have always thought when he gets to world class he will be superb walking fighters on to his shots boxing off the back foot.As for Steve Williams....that would be a very painful night for him.

im awake, think you lot need to wake up,lomax was no contest from the day he signed to fight him 3 days ago or whenever it was and to be honest the whole show was a joke. fw could of found a better opponent for gavin than lomax they might aswell put a bag in the middle of the ring and had gavin put on abit of a public workout for 7 rounds and the bag would of put up more of a fight than lomax

come on, lomax saved the show, the fight was at his weight and not gavins, it was a very good display of boxing, his now stopped 8 out of 9 opponents, he might not have one punch knockout power but when you dominate round after round the fights going to get stopped, i believe frankie will beat anyone in europe at 140lb except khan. well done frankie, glad to hear your off the beer this year :TU:

lost to Lenny Daws, thats pretty much the highlight. Now touted as the man to beat Gavin by some... Maybe they should look at how he does against people nearer Gavins level... the only other decent fighter he has faced is Michael Grant, thats not sufficient experience for Gavin IMO...

It's only one person who think Williams will win.

He could potentially claim the British, but I feel Williams is just below it.

allow me a little licence lol... depends who the titlist is... didnt beat Daws, wouldnt beat Theophane IMO, Lynes maybe if not at his best... at the finish of it, anyone has a chance against anyone else but the chances of him getting past Gavin are smaller than they would be for other fighters.
