Eight British Heavyweights.... How Would You Match Them?
Putting Chisora and Haye to one side....
Fury, Sexton, Harrison, Rogan, McDermott, Sprott, Price and Dallas.
(I know some won't happen), but I'd go for.....
Fury vs Rogan
Sexton vs McDermott
Harrison vs Sprott
and
Price vs Dallas.

8 evenly matched fighters there! The Heavyweight Domestic Scene is looking good ATM. I would go for;
Fury-Rogan
McDermott-Dallas
Price-Sprott
Sexton-Harrison
Fury-Rogan
McDermott-Dallas
Price-Sprott
Sexton-Harrison

I quite fancied Price v Rogan but I think Fury would do better against him at this stage.
Sexton v Harrison would be a good fight Sexton boxes well on the outside keep Harrison at bay but he would crumple under a Harrison left or two

I do love that phrase. Used it at uni once and the lecturer thought I was making a drug reference. goes to show.Final round wrote:He's keeping his powder dry.MatthewS wrote:Does he remember how to throw a left?Final round wrote:

Classic
"Matthew why are you standing there (in the rain) with your hands in your pockets get in there and have a go!".
"I can't sir I'm etc.."
I can see where the mistake was made

Im with on this, think Price would take Harrison out early. Fury would know he's going into a hard fight so would get him self fit. Sexton beats Rogan again.. McDermott beats Dallas in a good toe to toe then Dallas having to go on the back foot which he has'nt yet to do as a pro...

Re: Eight British Heavyweights.... How Would You Match Them?
Say sorry to Harrison and Rogan and have the remaining 6 fight in a round Robin tourney over 8 rounds, 3 fights each, fighting every 4-6 weeks. Top 4 have a semis over 10 then winners face off over 12 for either the UK title or an eliminator for a fight with Del-Boy. Removes the pressure to stay unbeaten, gives losers a chance to avenge defeats and with regular fights will raise the profile of the heavies in this country.
About as likely as Floyd v Pacman and Haye v Wlad sharing a card on July 2nd!

its interesting
some combinatations would be interesting like Harrison v Price or Fury
but id say avoid Harrison v sprott or sprott/ Fury
if we hare looking for a thrill a minute you should put Towers and Dave Howe in as well

Re: Eight British Heavyweights.... How Would You Match Them?
fight I'd love to see is Fraudley vs Big Larry - just for the look on Fraudley's face when he tries to work out whether to attack the now allegedly chinny opponent or to run like hell from the big bombs coming his way...
