I think he could well vacate, it will depend who the opponent is but I strongly suspect he won't fight you.

im talking from fact waterboy,i took a lad down to west ham boys club to sparr someone in 2006,it was ash theophane,he was a stand up straight style fighter still tough but no movement. the same guy i took down sparred ash before his title fight on saturday and ash was a totally different fighter from that of 2006,he was slick, loads of head movement and tricky with his shots this is from his time in the states imo
Haha fuk me give any fighter 5 years training and there'll improve!
he wouldnt of picked that up sparring kids in england fact,he has been sparring quality fighters and boxing better opposition in the states

how would theophane get on with williams iyo ?
in my opinion i think williams would grind him down, the first 4-5 rounds would be close with ash being slippery but williams determination would get him the W imo

Well daws grinded Williams down an theopane beat daws I know that don't matter but I don't see will aims grinding down theopane no way an from what I heard people who spar with Williams he ent that strong an I know he has been down a few times in sparring in big gloves so when he starts getting hit with 8 oz it will be different he looks rugged an tough does Steve but IMO skills pay the bills. An I would love to fight Steve next his Taylor made for me

Dont know where you've heard that Frankie? iv never been down amateur or pro and in the Daws fight my best round was the 10th and i had a good couple of rounds left in the tank. My fitness is never a problem. I was pulled out by my corner to stop the cuts getting any worse, which looking back was probably a good thing. I dont come on here calling anyone out, i fight whoever my manager matches me with no questions asked.

I boxed for Mersey ABC then Avalon ABC. Im in no rush, recently changed trainers so were working on a few things which will take time until im doing it in my fights so maybe another couple of fights first. If i get offered a title fight in the meantime i would gladly accept it tho, not sure what my manager has planned for me so just playing it by ear

Wasn't Lomax a welterweight fight ? perhaps would have to qualify for a shot at light-welter. I forecast Ashley defending it against someone else and Frankie having an eliminator of sorts before being in position to challenge for it. Karl Place, Tyrone Nurse etc all unbeaten. Or it could be a couple of the more familiar names.

Maybe even Frankie vs Daws would be a telling comparison, say April time.

Ashley is no mug and has soaked up plenty of experience in recent years. I was surprised and impressed with how cool he remained and how he just stuck with it. He has respectable power and also unmarked at the final bell.

He has young Dilmaghani is his camp from time to time who is a fast 5'9 southpaw with plenty of moves.

Could shape up to be a really nice fight for British fight fans. What with Frankie's stock getting higher and higher - and Theophane being in perhaps one of the best domestic fights this year, it could be a pretty decent sized fight indeed.

Frankie has all the moves, whilst Ashley's experience will fox his way into the later rounds. It could gel nicely.

so your theory of if fighter2 beats fighter1 then gets beat by fighter3, fighter 3 would beat fighter1? hahaha so lewis beat bruno then got beat by mcCall so really mcCall would beat bruno right? and i dont know were you got daws grinded williams from did you see the fight and watch the corner? mcCracken was trying to gee up daws at the end of the 10th cause he knew williams was getting to daws and it was just a matter of time before

Good to hear! Are there plans to have Frankie headline a couple of shows in Birmingham anytime soon (obviously not the AVLC) instead of just the big shows he's been appearing on?

To be fair he said fight, not beat. He also said Frankie would fight, not his management would let him.
