I totally agree. If the board were to allow this it would be farce.

Roy Jones is a strange man. For what seemed like his whole prime he fought people who posed him no danger, often hinting of his fear of ending up like his friend (and fellow PETA member) Gerald McClellan.

Now, as an old man with about 10% of his famed reflexes and speed, he continues to fight and risk further knockouts against a strong list of opponents. Further denting his legacy

I hope it doesn't happen, even as a warm up to a Klitschko fight in the early summer. If he wants a warm up, I'd rather he fought Tyson Fury than Roy Jones.

Seems Haye is hinting/twittering he's about to announce the Klit fight.....which will be July I guess - so assuming negotiations don't break down again over who gets to wear the pink shorts / socks combo outfit....Haye prob sits tight and Wlad hammers Del Boy into the ground and...all is well.

I also remember Haye tweeting that Pac and Mayweather should "just get it on."

Jeez.

As I said earlier in the thread, there is no way in worlf this is happening. However, it's keeps people talking about Haye, good or bad, they are still talking.

No different to the Harrison farce that Hayemaker Promotions foisted upon the boxing public.

That was a joke fight with a truly unworthy opponent, yet it did big numbers & that's what counts at the end of the day. :witzend:

I wouldn't be entirely confident in proclaiming that this fight will never happen.
