You're a business editor OR a newspaper? Talk about different sides of the spectrum.

and yeah, it was Ole Klemetsen, a really nice guy, and great family, he was really heavily sponsored, and they used to spend money like it was going out of fashion..

Eric,
In the picture outside the London Bus Stop, who is the guy on the left in the black leather Jacket. (Apologise to all if he is a mega famous boxer). I'm new.
Cheers

I'd put money on it being Ole.

It was my immediate thought but doubt started to creep in. It looks around mid-late 90s so the hair would match.Datsue wrote:orbtastic wrote:Looks like Ole Klemetsen to me, I could be wrong though but it certainly looks like him.hurlock wrote:the photo before benn, i cant work out who the fighter is????

i remember my dad taking me to the thomas a' beckett & hagler was there with his half bro simm's who was taking on benn.i had the superfight jacket & was too embarassed to get it sighned. i must of been 7-8. i dont think id ever go up too someone for a signature or pic. but i would now go up & tell them why im a fan, if there retired as they reflect on the adulation they recieved from the fan's Bo :!:
also because someone is a great sportsman dont make them a great person & to find out your idol is an arsehole must be bitterly dissapointing & fill you with hate

Brilliant. Now that's all I see in that photo. I've already come back to look at it 4 times.
