Micky - look at Curtis Woodhouse record - the moment he has stepped up to remotely area title level opposition - he has failed.

Steffy Bull was an excellent fighter at area title level.Curtis stopped him,in his own backyard.

The sanctioning of the fight wouldn't be the main issue David, finding a headguard to fit Spuds humongous napper would be the mammoth task that could potentially render this bout a non-starter

But what has Spud done now? Offered out a pro-fighter?

sorry lefty i took the bait! as far as im concerned its all banter some people can take it some people cant i think spud winds himself up more than he winds me up i just like playing the game i was at the fight the other night it was a good show i went down to watch regan he did well great right hand to end things not on here to fight with anybody unlike spud i settle my differences in the ring not behind a keyboard

I noticed you in the Dressing Rooms with Glyn and the lads - I passed you off as one of Regan's groupies!!! :wink:

I was the one helping the whip out and handing out the gloves etc etc - I even said hello to you - although I did discuss with someone concerning a potential fight between yourself and Niki Smedley - it was a foolish discussion and was dismissed quickly due to Niki needing to push on with his career instead of embroiling himself in a mere sparring session with someone who cant even win an Area Title.

I hope this is tongue in cheek Spud, I know you struggle with such a subtlety but Smedley just won over six against a guy who was 0-20? Woodhouse is ahead of him right now I would venture.

your probably right mr payne, but let's see what happens in the coming year as we are lookin to put nicki in with a good test next then a title fight, moyo was not the ideal opponent but credit him for coming all the way up at the last minute, at least nicki got to box

None of the above is me criticising Nikki. Nor his opponent, I've questionned how they get sanctioned and yet someone like Botha is considered AT risk when fighting Fury.

As soon as I saw Moyo as an opponent 0- I did not think he was suitable for Niki - no way.

However just to get Niki back through them ropes was brilliant - and I know for a FACT, Dennis Hobson wants to throw Niki in there with some decent tests - as long as Niki and his dad Chris are ok with that I think Niki will be moved along quickly.

We are all wanting nicki to be moved along fast and that is what is planned, he is back in the gym wednesday and will be out next on 30th april at light welter and hopefully with an opponent that will test him...... Any suggestions ?????
