Sonny Bill Williams

Post by Srebmun »

Only the 2nd man to play both league and union for New Zealand, and is also the only athlete to simultaneously pursue careers in both professional boxing and international rugby.

3-0 as a pro' boxer and 2 caps as centre for New Zealand.

Nothing to do with British & Irish, but you guys have a bit of sense so thought it best in here.

That is an athlete.

Fabulous rugby player but not the first past or present rugby league player from down under to eke out a sideline beating up no-hopers in a boxing ring.

He is a beast on the rugby pitch, thats for sure.

As for his Boxing career? Most of the novice English Heavyweights on the scene right now would decapitate him inside a round.

Solomon Haumono threatened to look like a decent prospect in the pro ranks, but wasn't quite up to it in the end. Watch his fight against Royce Sio on youtube to see what happened that night
