:TU: I must have missed a few of Wlad’s recent fights. Last time I saw him he had the killer instinct of Mary Poppins so I’m not sure why he’s suddenly seen as a kill crazy maniac who is going to come out all guns blazing. Don’t get me wrong, Mary was a bad ass bitch in her day but she did tend to take her time.
I swore I wouldn't get excited about any more rumours and speculation about the two of them "being close to signing a contract" but after seeing Hayes twitter post and Antonio Tarver's post to him congratulating him on getting the fight signed, I got more excited than Chris Arreola in a pie shop. Plus Warren looks like he has the SKY TV date for the 21st May which was proposed to be Haye v mandatory.
No news at all over the weekend apart from Adam Booth saying their might be "developments" by the middle of the week which could "drastically change things"........
21st May - same date as Johnson vs Froch - so I'm guessing the USA will be the venue for this one - with both being on a PPV.
We do have Hopkins vs Pascal 2 on the same day - Primetime option?

I think it is disgusting that anyone wants to see two brothers fight, especially two brothers who are so close as the Klits.
I am more excited about Wlad v Chis, at least Chisora comes to fight and not run and dance.
I don't find the thought of them fighting as sickening as watching the two of them carving up the heavyweight scene and beating fat lazy American slobs with no ambition. I appreciate they can only beat what is put in front of them but it's still frustrating.
I hope Haye gets this sorted, it's grating on all of us. Am sick of the 'will they-won't they' hype, it's extremely tedious now.

You mean like Haye did with a non punching Harrison.
Chambers was out cold, took Peter 5 mins to get off the canvas. It's going to be a systematic beatdown before Haye get's sparked. I can see why people are giving him a chance as we've all seen Wlad fall apart in the past but Haye should be a big dog in this fight.
Anyone getting excited about Haye v Wlad in July with the Chisora fight still in place is setting themselves up to be severely disappointed.

Actually myself and my corner shop men were the only people predicting it - if you wish me to call up the thread when even Smigga laughed off my suggestions I am more than happy to do so. Most of you lot were stating Smigga had bigger fish to fry.

Haye gets beat by Wlad IMO, his jab is too sharp and too powerful it'll keep Haye off balance all night and not let Haye get set to through his combinations. I see Wlad dismantling him in about 8 rounds stopping him. Vitali would be a better stylistic fight IMO, he keeps it at a close range and will let Haye get set to throw his combinations, I see him beating Vitali on a wide points imo

The Briton, 30, hopes to unify the titles before retiring later this year.
"One way or another my next fight is going to be in July," Haye told BBC Sport. "The fight that was scheduled for May has been cancelled.
"I'm hoping it's going to be against Wladimir Klitschko. We should know something more in the next few days."
Wladimir's brother Vitali holds the WBC heavyweight title and Haye is keen to fight both men before he turns 31 in October, at which point the Londoner plans to quit boxing.
