I'd be cheering on Manny, but if I'm honest with myself I think Floyd wins on points

I hope it does happen so I can tie this in with a work flight to save money.

That would be great news if it finally comes off!
I'm picking Mayweather widely on points

No mention of where the money would be coming from...sounds extremely unlikely.

Has there been a super-fight which hasn't been linked to Mandela and SOuth Africa since the late nineties?

I think FMJ has the tools & talent to beat Manny, but not the belief.

I believe that Floyd, whilst not outright scared of Pac, is very wary of him & doesn't believe in himself 100%.

If FMJ felt he could beat Pac, the fight would have happened 18 months ago IMHO.

Floyd's too big for Manny.

Nice though that Floyd is doing something for Mandela. I'm sure Nelson enjoyed the "Gonna cook that yellow chump" line from the video.

Well, Mandela don't really like the whites does he so he might have enjoyed it!

I'm really not sure... Although I voted Floyd.

Problem is, if Floyd beats him easily after Olympic style drug testing (which could happen) there would be a MASSIVE question mark against all of Manny's big wins.

So for Manny's sake I hope he wins, or its at least very close.

Floyd in a very easy UD. If the relatively easy to hit Marquez and Morales can outbox Manny whats Mayweather going to do to him?

I wouldn't want to see it above Welterweight, but even then I think Floyd will find a way to win, but I'd LOVE to see Manny pull it off.

I think people just want Mayweather to lose and just lose all objectivity when discussing him. I can find just as much fault, if not more, with Manny's last 3-4 oppos than I can with Mayweather's.

I think that's over-cooking it.

Especially as Floyd's last opponet was his ex-missus.

If both men were naturally the same size it would be close, very close. But I can’t see Floyd being beaten by someone from a lower weight class.

orb's second sentence *may* have overcooking in there but my experience of forums strongly backs up his first sentence, Ezz :TU:

I am not sure who would win, mayweather has more boxing skills but for 1 Mayweather dose not look his best fighting southpaws zab judah was beating mayweather in the first rounds and DeMarcus Corley who isn't that good hit mayweather flush a few times, Yes mayweather did beat these 2 fighters but manny is a lot better then both of these and 2 would mayweather be able to handle manny non stop in and out punching with speed? I think mayweather will get hit flush in this fight but I cant see any of these loosing. another thing we dont know if mayweather has slowed down since the shane mosley fight. but still I think its 50-50

Yep and then he adjusted and systematically dismantled them both!

Mayweather should win but only if he keeps Floyd snr away from the camp. I'm sure i remember from the 24/7 series that Hatton was only sparring orthodox fighters
