Klitschko v Chisora off?
I've heard a few whispers that the fight is off again so that the Haye fight will be made.

In all honesty what would you rather? Chisora gets screwed and Haye vs Klitschko happens or Haye v Klitschko doesn't happen?Tommy Gunn13 wrote:if theres any truth in this you gotta feel sorry for Chisora..not once but twice now!!

Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
That's not the point. If this is true, it is a liberty. That's two training camps and a whole lot of money wasted. I hope derek gets decent paper to step aside.jameswilson wrote:In all honesty what would you rather? Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
I think a fair outcome would be for vlad to vacate the wbo title and allow chisora to contest it against the highest ranked contender with the winner getting the winner of haye vs klitschko.

Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
This was hinted to me a few days ago.hopefully not true. We will know soon if it is as something happens when rumours around this stable are untrue.
Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
Bang out of order if chisora gets pushed aside.
Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
IF Chisora gets some step aside money and a shot at the winner i'm sure he'll be happy enough, although pissed off 2 training camps have been wasted
Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
Cannot see that happening though - Haye might retire if he wins. Doesn't Chisora have to be mandatory for it to happen.Chambers2 wrote:IF Chisora gets some step aside money and a shot at the winner i'm sure he'll be happy enough, although pissed off 2 training camps have been wasted
Also no disrespect, if Haye does have one last fight at Heavyweight if he beats Klitchsko - I would not want to see it against another non-deserving Brit. 1 was bad enough in 5 title fights at the weight. Bung him in with Povetkin or the big Brother.

yeah you're right, I was looking at it more from Del Boys side than Our Deronsstujones wrote:Cannot see that happening though - Haye might retire if he wins. Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
An aspect to consider in all this, and I have this on good authority, is that Wlad really does actually want to have a tune-up fight before facing Haye. It remains to be seen whether or not he decides that having such a tune-up so soon before the Haye fight would be too risky. I imagine that the Haye side will be trying to convince Wlad not to take chances with their fight by going through with the Chisora defence, some of his own camp might be doing the same. At the end of the day I'd be surprised if money doesn't speak loudest, but the Klitschkos are determined to teach Haye a lesson so you never know.

I don't know what's happening here, but I do know that I can't blame Sky for sticking to the Khan date, who is actually going to fight, over these guys who don't seem to know what they are doing.

Wlad's definitely worried, he's been having Corrie Sanders flashbacks for the past 12 months
Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
I don't understand why Haye doesn't fight in May, Klit in June, then they meet in September.

Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
haye is in great danger of being beated by chagaev or povetkin, his million dollar nestegg will be ruined if he gets defeated. trust me, this is a huge possibility, haye cannot and will not risk a fight before wladimir, the haye camp are not stupid, they know the risks.Dioufy wrote:I don't understand why Haye doesn't fight in May, Klit in June, then they meet in September.

Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
The more likely outcome will surely be that Haye v Wlad is for the WBO, IBF and WBA Super belts with the WBA sanctioning a fight for the WBA "normal" title between, say, Chisora and Povetkin (assuming Chagaev is still a no go). There are a number of precedents for the Haye - Wlad fight being for the Super belt - so it's not such a stretch. Plus, in Povetkin (or any other potential opponent), Chisora should feel that he has a better chance of winning. I'd imagine the pragmatist in his promoter would certainly see things that way.jessi wrote:ha hachiggsy wrote:I think a fair outcome would be for vlad to vacate the wbo title and allow chisora to contest it against the highest ranked contender with the winner getting the winner of haye vs klitschko.

Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
Chisora did sound a bit doubtful last night on Bunces' show.
Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
Chisora goes on the undercard

Re: Klitschko v Chisora off?
Taking the missus to Italy during the royal wedding nonsense and decided to make a detour to Germany to watch the klit v Chisora fight 'on the way back'. It wasn't easy to justify to the wife or cheap having already paid for a fruitless trip around the original klit Haye date a couple of years ago.
Feel like a bit of a tit. How am I going to explain this to her now? Feckin ridiculous sport
