Hatton to lose on pts @ 5/1 for me - £50 - confident and tough enough to put up a brave losing effort at those odds, imo..

Hatton will get blown away. The weight is one thing, but the gulf in class is more worrying.

Mexican inside 4 rounds.

Alvarez can definitely hit, the baldomir ko was scary.....I expect him to get Hatton out of there within 6. Fair play to Matthew for taking the match though....

I had a big bet on Alvarez by stoppage when the fight was announced in January and am confident that he will stop Hatton emphatically. He's just too big, powerful and skillful for Hatton who, while improved, is domestic level at best.

I had that fight 97-94 for PDL. The judge who scored it 99-91 Broner needs to stop judging.

I appreciate and give him credit for winning and defending the Euro belt but I'd still say he's domestic level and no more. I'd take Kell Brook to beat him easily and reckon he'd struggle with even the likes of Jennings and Witter. To me the guy is just average at everything and will be badly found out in this fight.

Unbelievably I got 10/11 at Boylesports. I placed it literally the day after the fight was announced though. I thought Xmas had come early! Odds have tumbled hugely now though.

I can't believe Danny Flexen reckons Hatton is worth a bet, Alvarez is a slight favourite and that no one knows how good he is :o
