I will play it safe and say that Belghecham will beat Fitzgerald because he is match fit, still young, very very durable and has fought at a level miles above anything Fitzgerald has to date, but I take my hat off to Fitzgerald for fighting him and salute his bravery. I hope that Fitzgerald wins.
I will also play it safe and say that Michael Sweeney will beat Ian Timms. Timms is tough but he has been very inactive and Sweeney seems to be hungry for professional success. Sweeney by late rounds stoppage or decision. Timms wont go down easy in front of his home crowd.

Agreed and the card isn't worth the entrance fee being charged.

dont agree with that. the headliner is worth the admission alone

The headliner is worth the price alone but I also think the two main undercard bouts are really interesting. In my opinion it's better than having a host of "names" against South American and Eastern European imports. Fitzer - Belghecam and Sweeney - Tims will get the crowd nicely warmed up before Big Bang enters the ring.

It looks better than the Burns vs Laryea undercard.

I can see a lot of "home" fighters getting beaten!

It actually been pretty quiet in the run up between Tims and Sweeney!!

If Fitzer beats Belgacham then that will shut a lot of people (myself included).

Quiet as in it may be pulled last minute or quiet as in Casey hogging the lime light?

Quiet as in they haven't been throwing ten tonnes of shíte at each other in the run up. The pair of them are entertainment.

All you have to do is search Google for a couple of the articles in th lead up to the fight that never was in Limerick to gauge the pairs feelings for each other.
