I'll start the ball rolling with Peter McDonagh (16-19). I can't believe he has lost 19 times.

Bradley Pryce.

Fed to the wolves at times by FW, fought regularly above his optimum weight and had classic dust-ups with several good fighters.

I think with more care and obviously more dedication from Pryce he could have been European Champion.

There's loads. Billy Smith is probably the best example. Emanual Augustus? Depends how impressed by records you are.

Glen Johnson and Chris Edwards are the two that spring to mind immediately.

I also think the loss column on Bernard Hopkins' ledger is misleading also. 1993 was the last time he was beaten decisively

Great call on Pryce.
It was the comment on the Groves-DeGale thread that got me thinking, I was talking about fellas who were over-matched or cashed out maybe when they could have taken softer fights and padded the record.
To hear a guy like McDonagh is 16-19 makes him sound like a complete mug, but he's far from that.

The fact that I scored for Hopkins in both Taylor fights, the Calzaghe fight and the recent Pascal fight was my reason for the mention.

Carlos Palomino, prior to the Stracey challenge. Nobody could forsee how good a fighter he was, least of all the Cartel. I watched Palomino's fight with Mando Muniz on youtube the other day. He throws the kind of shots you don't see today.

im gonna hold out for a 12 rounder at welter or light-middle so could be out of ring few months,6-8 rounders are no good for me takes me 6 to warm up.
