I think with more care and obviously more dedication from Pryce he could have been European Champion.

You're going up and down like a whores drawers.

Lose at LM and you'll say you're going back down to WW again.

Boxers like Lou Gent, Michael Sprott, Hussain Osman and Sven Hamer spring to mind. They had alot of losses on their records, but if their opponent puts a foot wrong then it can be goodnight for them.

Who was that Mcafferty bloke from Kettering who fought a load of our top HWs?? Don't remember him winning (m)any matches, but always put on a good perfoemance and rarely got stopped.

Just looked him up Derek McCafferty 2(1)-17(5)-1

Yes, as someone has mentioned, Johnny Greaves is far better than his record. On one of his rare wins he was moving back onto the ropes and pulled out a cracker of a punch to score a KO, he didn't intend to ko the bloke and it p*ssed him off because that was the longest he didn't get work after that! He more than holds his own in sparring with top prospects and championship fighters and you get the feeling that in some of his fights if he turned it on a little he would walk away with more wins, but of course he wouldn't get the work and bills need paying.

I'll be honest. I've never really took the game serious enough . That's a big regret. That said I earn well doing as I am. But I do realise that these lads are at times beatable , but up to my last fight I've enjoyed being the clown and taking the lads all the way . I love my job Simplest
