Omg, I was noding my head while reading till you mentioned Tyson should be top 5. Youve got to be kidding. Tyson doesn't come close to the top 50 in any all time greatest P4P list. It can easily be backed up also with hard facts. Tyson was a bully boy, when things don't go his way he folds and gets dq'ed or quits. Tyson is the ultimate highlight reel fighter. Make a up video of his greatest knockouts and show to someone who doesn't know and they would think he's the greatest of all time. Make up a video of Matt Le'Tissiers greatest goals and the same thing would happen, he would look the greatest of all time.

For me its Ray Leonard

Beat two others on the list, World champ in six weight divisions and not forgetting the victory over Thomas Hearns, another fighter who i think should have been in the top ten.

hearns would have had my vote over Monzon.

Pure skills I was talking about, not about fighting heart etc. Of course I agree with this post and that why I wouldn't have him in. Added to the fact he had a limited opposition level and short career at the top then of course I agree.

I just think that on a pure offensive/defensive skills Tyson would be in my top 5 with Ali, Robinson, Leonard and Jones.

A prime Mike Tyson was a pleasure to watch, as of course was so many fighters you could mention - but personally those are my five on technique/skill.

I would pick Armstrong based on accomplishments. Not just for winning three titles in different weighs at the same time but he also defended the Welter title 19 times in 2 years!!

I was dying for Ricky Hatton to tell Des Lynam to f*ck off when he asked that question about his weight. At least Ricky doesn't bed chicks with dicks. Muppet.

He went out with one. It was in last but one issue of The Observer's Sport Monthly. Of course he tried to play it down.

I think it will be Natratalova who will probably be the favourite to win, probably the deserving winner, transended the womens game. She is in her mid 40's and can still compete in a singles competition on grass.

I really do admire Agassi though, to win Wimbledon with his game is a remarkable achievement. To win all four slam tournaments is also rare, to still be very competitive at 36 years of age and still a threat is again remarkable.

However, the thing that steals it for me is how he came back from being ranked 1 or 2 in the world, in the mid 90's losing that ranking through a compination of injury and form and sliding all the way down to the 200's in the world - and gradually climb his way back to the top when all his peers told him not to embarress himself and pack it in.
Navratilova or graff, Graff did it in a more competitive era with more top female players. Navratilova's longevity is amazing. sampras was world number 1 forever, Lendl too, and Jimmy connors had a fantastic career.

What is the correct course of action when you find yourself agreeing with FW?
