In my job I have to visit around 8 houses per day. I meet some wonderful people and the educational level of them is from average and above. Last summer I visited a home of a 30 something Muslim woman. Absolutely delightful young woman, offered me tea or an orange juice as it was hot, kid's drawings on the fridge, toys everywhere and an averaging, lovingly, lived in home.

In her kitchen was a plaque on the wall which read "This is my mess, I fought for it, leave it alone". We chatted about the summer holidays and she declared that the kids would "drive her mad". I know that feeling and sympathised with her. So you will, no doubt, understand that this is an ordinary, everyday, average, young woman who just happens to be a Muslim.

Another plaque on her kitchen wall, above the sink read "In memory of the great Imam (insert arabic name), whenever you drink water please recite this prayer. (Fair enough if he is a good man in the community and deserves to be remembered) "Allah the great, Allah the merciful, Allah the wise bestows good wishes, good health and good fortune upon you....AND DEATH AND DESTRUCTION TO ALL THOSE THAT OPPOSE HIM"

Now, no one in their right mind would think that this well adjusted, average young woman would subscribe to the literal teachings of such a (shall we say dubious) holy book. However with over a billion Muslims in the world what kind of percentage do you think it would take to believe such fairy tale nonsense to get enough men to strap bombs to themselves and get on a bus or tube with no thought of their children or wives just the promise of an hereafter that they will never see.

And while your working that out, be my guest to search you tube for something as powerful in the opposite direction. I used you tube because it is a medium that is aimed at your level. I keep asking you and your ilk to read but you seem unwilling or incapable.

How many doctors and surgans do we have in this country alone? How many people of other religions have these doctors treated and saved lives of those who are not Muslim?! The plaque wasn't written by the woman of the house. Hate to repeat myself but think about it. It's a declaration of respect for an Imam who is considered worthy! I have no problem with that. I recanted the tale of the Muslim woman because it is clear that not everyone in that, or any other faith subscribes to murderous intent. And regarding the title of this post, I am not wholely defending Small's actions. I fear that he is being easily mislead in some aspects because like many who attempt to brain wash others some truth is mixed with what they are saying which can be untrue and to an extreme. They drum in the truth so much then the untruth/extreme starts to get believed and believed is right and its justified to them because the wrong which is happening by the Governments is magnified. Its a knock on effect, gets peoples backs up which then forms groups like the EDL which then get the every day average person's back up who happens to be Muslim because a group are stereo typing them, then its easier for that average every day person to be brain washed. Firstly my friend, you do not need to copy and paste from the net quotes from the Quran for me as along with having knowledge of the Quran I have knowledge of the Bible and texts/verses can easily be misinterpreted when singled out having not seen whats said before and after in both. But those only highlight in which they want to attack and in the EDL chav society it will be the Quran which is highlighted rather than the Bible. What did you google? As we all know we can find anything we look for good or bad in google. What you need to learn and realise is the sign of the times these books originally came from. Views of expression is different today than what it was some 3,500 years ago when the first texts in the Bible was wrote and some 1,400 years ago when the Quran was completed.

I fail to see how recanting a tale of visiting a woman's house who had a plaque that read as I said means I haven't educated myself! I didn't put it there, I didn't write it. I merely pointed out that a normal well adjusted young woman saw nothing wrong in displaying this in her Kitchen (alonside another plaque saying "This is my mess,I fought for it, leave it alone")

It may have been her husbands plaque! The sentiment of the qualifying line may have been overlooked because of wish to honour the Imam it was written about.

However the bottom line is, there is far, far too much credence and leeway given to what is ultimately a fairytale. There is no Allah, there is no God, they are myths perpetuated by bronze age men that are still clung to today by people who should know better. I mean come on, talking snakes, winged horses flying to heaven, Zombies hundreds of years old visiting each other, a fellow in sandals sitting on a cloud!!!

There are many good quotes in the Koran, there are many good quotes in the bible but both condone slavery, stoning to death for apostaphy, and eternal damnation for anyone who doesn't believe in there branch of madness.

Firstly my friend, you do not need to copy and paste from the net quotes from the Quran for me as along with having knowledge of the Quran I have knowledge of the Bible and texts/verses can easily be misinterpreted when singled out having not seen whats said before and after in both. But those only highlight in which they want to attack and in the EDL chav sociaty it will be the Quran which is highlighted rather than the Bible. What did you google? As we all know we can find anything we look for good or bad in google. What you need to learn and realise is the sign of the times these books origianliy came from. Views of expression is different today than what it was some 3,500 years ago when the first texts in the Bible was wrote and some 1,400 years ago when the Quran was completed.
