I thought we were related to Jeremy Clarkson because he came from Doncaster as well. Turned out it was just a coincidence
You want tenuous? My dad was a magistrate with Clarkson's mum in Doncaster.
Mind you he also promoted Martha Reeves and the Vandellas at an all-nighter in Stoke On Trent in the early 80's.
My sister is Harriet Payne. If you dig this thread up at some point in the next five years - she may top the lot.
So what does your sister do? there is an actress called Harriet Payne
There isn't! Well funnily enough she's about to graduate from top notch Drama College in London as one of the best 2-3 in the year. Lots of interest in her. She wants to work in West End.
My uncle Billy played in goal for the Republic of Ireland (once I think, and it was a 5-0 drubbing)
My dad was on Bullseye in 1987. He won, but didn't gamble. Still have the Bendy Bully and Scalextric to prove it.
...and Ewan McGregor tried to score drugs from me at Huddersfield Student Union in 1997. Appearing in a play directed by his uncle (Wedge from Star Wars)

I don't but.... I somehow got a photo of Des O'Connor and thought it was funny so put it on my desk at work.
We used to have a delivery driver that came every week and he saw the photo. He asked me what is was all about and I said 'oh yeah he's my Uncle'. Everytime he came in he asked how he was and I'd ahve to say, 'yeah he's alright thanks'. Soemtimes he'd ask a bit more in depth so I had to pull out some extra bullshyte.. D
