10. Missed the ref, sparring partner and the WBA champ. Annoyingly read the name of the sparring partner in Hugh McIlvanney's book only yesterday. Still couldn't tell you it now. Thanks for posting.

ok, try his general knowledge questions, and see who gets the highest combined score.
I'm guessing they won't be much higher than the ones you've got already.

I took part in a sports quiz on UK Gold about 15 years ago and picked Tyson's life and career as my specialist subject. Believe me, it's a lot easier from your armchair. Having said that, you either know the answers or you don't. I got through four rounds and screwed up in the final. It was called Sports Anorak of the Year and was hosted by Rory McGrath.

I got 4.

Would have got 4 more with a tad more time, if the geezer hadn't blurted the answers right out.

I got 9 but trying to answer before that guy put me off though would not have remembered Bill McMurray or the Tyson ref.

Hi gents,

I got 10... kicked myself on a couple I got wrong but must admit I would not have got Foreman's sparring partner if you'd given me ten minutes on that question alone!

I got 8.

Boxing is not a bad sport for quizzes.

I was on Sports Mastermind with Dickie Davies. My specialist subject was Boxing and they gave me Mexican boxers. Did okay.
