Supposedly it's either gonna be in Detroit or Vegas.

Is there something in the contract that says this fight has to be in the U.S.? You gotta love the guy, but Johnson brings in very few fans. Seems like the perfect fight to happen in Notttingham, although I suppose it will be good for Froch to get some more American exposure before the finals (assuming he wins).

Well apparently they were going to stump up a "site fee" aka lump of wedge, for it to be held there, but it never materialized.

If something had been announced around January I would have flights booked but it seems like it's taking forever. Prob too late notice now.

I'm sure Glenkov wouldn't mind coming over here again - they should definitely do this one in the UK.

Unless Sky put in a bunch of cash, it could end up on same show as Ward v Abraham in California or pushed back to June.

Showtime have a busy time of it, now they have signed up with Top Rank. They have Pacquiao on May 7 and if they went May 14 Ward, May 21 Froch, they would have 3 busy weeks, made all the more so because of that behind the scenes show they do for the Super Six, which they are also doing for Pacquiao.

Johnson apparently wanted double money to come here, plus it would cost Showtime more to put on a show in UK.

For me, Froch Kessler was last year's best fight. And while it probably doesn't count as a good fight, his domination of Abraham was a joy to watch.

Once again Froch fights a top operator and nobody pays any notice. The man is a true champion.

The fact he just cracks on with it and doesn't moan is just a true measure of the guy. I wish more effort was made to get our best world champion fighting on home soil or at least on sky.

He won't need it, in the final he will be fighting Andre Ward and he will bring the American public with him to the final. Froch should take the fight in Nottingham.

Sky's lack of coverage of Froch fights is one of the crimes of the century. Well, behind the £1.5million Brian Clough once paid for Kingsley Black.
