Andy Lee weight
He is a middleweight and not a SMW.
Re: Andy Lee weight
The last time he weighed in at the middleweight limit or below was in 2008 against Brian Vera, about 10 fights ago or so...

Re: Andy Lee weight
He hasnt had a title fight since then and generally comes in at 162 so is just marginally over the limit anyway as there is no imperative to make the the exact limit for a non title fight.claudevsq wrote:The last time he weighed in at the middleweight limit or below was in 2008 against Brian Vera, about 10 fights ago or so...
Interesting that you mention Vera, since 2008 he has only made 160 once in 5 fights - and that was for a title fight.
He isnt a SMW (yet anyway) and shouldnt be listed as such.
Re: Andy Lee weight
Yeah, strange that Boxrec have decided he is a SMW. The majority of fighters don't make the division weight for a non-title fight or else both camps mutually agree on a catch weight just above the limit. He needs to be put back to the middleweight ratings asap.

Boxrec acting the fornicate, plain and simple
It wouldn't surprise me if Lee won a world title they would change his nationality to British![[icon_e_geek.gif] :geek:](./images/smilies/icon_e_geek.gif)

Re: Andy Lee weight
Not necessary to be rude... I'll change him to middleweight if that's your wish...
