gary fox. anyone seen him?
I'm matched to box him on the 8th , after getting stopped last time in a fight I should not have taken. I'm trying to be s bit more smart in choosing who I take on, rather than fighting who ever I get offered. Never turned down a fight & seeing as my hundred is the main goal since I turned . I really need to pull my finger out & look to win fights I have a chance of winning. Hope one or two of you can enlighten me!

Sunderland mate. I was told ten stone two. That's ok by me. Is he any good though si?
Re: gary fox. anyone seen him?
I'm no expert Johnny; I cant't see him being like Skeete, You're going to have to whack him and keep on him to get the win; he's not a lot of pro experience. Just fackin do him John
His facebook thing says he's got fast hands so you got to clock him clean.

I'll give it a try mate. Been a hell of a lot fitter this year but its my attitude I'm trying to sort out. At times I've been happy to play about and make things easy, no wins but also taking fornicate all. I want to get stuck in a bit more

Re: gary fox. anyone seen him?
He's nothing special to be honest. He's a strong lad and will come forward and be aggressive. Obviously he's a local lad, a ticket seller, and was touted as a bit of a prospect before losing to 2-10 William Warburton last time, so the odds aren't in your favour Johnny. Before that last fight i'd have said you'll probably have to knock him out to get a draw ;;-)
I'm back in the North East from London that weekend, might try and get along and lend you some support if Frank puts a decent undercard on

Top man thanks for that. Be lovely to get a bit if support mate. See the thing is mate if I can perform well and make it close that's not too bad for me. I'll pick up a win or two I think so its all about getting my attitude and confidence up again. Boxed holbern in Sunderland & I never was given a round in a pretty close fight. That said they were a good crowd & I enjoyed it . People were respectful
Re: gary fox. anyone seen him?
Johnny what was your opinion on the stoppage against Tyrone Nurse because I was ringside & I found it a bit bizarre.
Good luck in Sunderland too mate.

Re: gary fox. anyone seen him?
Ha ha, welcome to my world. Most if my fights go the right way but some decisions and stoppages are completely bizarre . Tyrone is a good fighter , picks his shots well with a great jab, only thing is power wise not great. I was comfy in the fight 1 round from the end . That's when the ref said after, I knew you were ok , I was thinking about your future. I thought a ref just reffed not worried about my future. I told him my manager & misses worry about that, & just do your job on the night
Re: gary fox. anyone seen him?
all n out brawler not much skill just a brawler. i think u cud out box him and make him look daft with u southpaw style mate
Re: gary fox. anyone seen him?
He's a mate of mine very game, good workrate and loves a tear-up. Not really happened for him as a pro so far but he's young and still very ambitious. Good fight this.
Re: gary fox. anyone seen him?

Re: gary fox. anyone seen him?
The lad sounds a bit if a handfull. But at 10 stone I really don't mind the come forward brawler type. As long as I make things hard for him, it will help bring my confidence back. See it's hard for Me to know what to do. Go for wins in hard fights & the board want to take my licence for having tuff fights. Make it easy for myself, move , don't take to much & I'll lose my licence for losing to many . Hundred has always been the Target. Is cry if I don't get there

Re: gary fox. anyone seen him?
That's the plan mate! I was a bit keyed up last time, giving away weight, & had a few family there. If I'm nice & relaxed , I should be fine
