He's got a good job alright; but I can't see any of them crossing the Atlantic to spend 20 mins in front of a camera in London. While he's in the US he may as well get a few interviews in the bag; (if I were in his shoes I'd be in Barbados or the Maldives interviewing the new 'up and comers').

I'd be more impressed if they managed to return with the next couple of Froch fights

I think you'll be impressed then,

Unless Froch's fight date gets screwed up.

I think all these Sky jolly's threads are a bit blown out of proportion. They probably made one trip to the USA and did Haye, B-Hop and Oscar DLH all in one go. I wouldn't have cost them that much in comparison with their overall budget and I really enjoyed all 3 shows.

Sky has its faults when it comes to boxing but I don't think they can win in the eyes of some people on here. When Ringside got cancelled they weren't putting in enough effort into boxing. Now its back and they are making a big effort with the show they are spending too much money!

Totally agree some people just like to bitch the boxing coverage on sky recently has been the best it has been for ages, ringside has been moved to a better time (not that it matters because i sky+ it) and the shows people complain about i've really enjoyed.

So what they went to the US - its world boxing not just local. People were complaining we werent getting the big fights, then when they air the big fights, people start complaining they arent getting the no named small hall fights because the budget is blown on the big fights.

Bottom line is the people on the forum may express their opinions but it does always mean they are the opinions of the wider public.
