Joe Louis unlike other guys threw his power punchers in short fast crisp motions and they were all short punches. now foreman on the other hand threw long haymakers that could be countered if u threw short fast punches inside. Louis would have nailed jabs into his face and when foreman went to throw wide punches louis would have nailded inside hooks into his face. foreman might have caught ihm early and dropped him but no doubt joe louis would win the slugging with his short crisp power punches.

funny thing is foreman loved louis. he said when he won the title " JOE LOIS SAID MORE TO ME IN 2 WORDS THAN MY CORNER HAS IN 20 DAYS. " LOL SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

I think the 1970s Foreman blew himself out after 5 rounds. Like you say Louis throws shorter, faster punches, often in clusters. I like Louis around 8-10 as I think he'd hold off going after George until he was fully fatigued. Foreman has the punch to hurt Joe so it will be very tight for the first few.
