I do not think he will lose any sleep over you not rating him, But for the record he won in 3 rounds, It was not a bad show 8 well match fights on the card and a fair size house of paiding fan. So most of you armchair guys who sit on here miss a good show put on by Mark Roe.

I resent that accusation. I am more of an Office-Swivel Chair guy....can't fit an armchair into the study.

There is loads on here who go to shows Frank, there is no need to be so defensive.I have been to 3 in the last 8 weeks including yours in Doncaster and have spotted a few who post on here. Also been to a small hall show in Leeds so am supporting "the life blood" :TU:

TO FTM: At what point does Tom stop working and become a full time fighter? Do the other prospects in the HW division work also? I hear he's sparring after work etc? that must be very draining and hard to put in a performance that is demonstrating your full potential.

why on earth do you presume that people who post on here dont also go to the shows? in my experience it is quite the opposite

Ive always supported you till recently ,but your now coming across as a cock end , why the eff am i going to travel from nottingham to gillingham to see a show in which the only boxer on it that i have a vague interest in is tom dallas , who in all fairness would have to be boxing almost on my doorstep for me to pay to watch him at the mo due to the fact hes going to be in with opponents who we know tom will beat .
You know how this sport worksand to think any different to what ive just said would be a joke .

I take my hat of to the guys who put this show on with out TV and all small hall promoters they are the life blood of this sport. And i did not make any of the matches by the way.

That is up to Tom and his team to make there mind up re this point, any way what harm is there in going to work what will a fighter do with himself all day hanging around,When i first started in boxing most fighter did something else as well as boxed. The boxer know when he wants to stop work i would believe.

Frank id just like to say Tom is a decent fighter and i can see him becoming british champion *depending on who he fights* but I seriously struggle to see him becoming a world champion. There isnt enough thought given to the way he boxes,he pretty much looks for the big shots on every punch and you're not going to win world titles in my view boxing like that!Aside from that he's really open aswell, when he's going in letting his hands go he constantly gets tagged. He needs to improve alot in terms of his boxing iq in my view.Time will tell though, also he's in the heavyweight division which aside from the klitschkos and haye is pretty crap to put it mildly so that gives him some element of a chance.

I have now found your post and thank you for your support, why when some one from the sport come on here and post a fair comm. some of you guy reply and are so rude maybe that why not to many of us come on here and post. So what type of oppen. should a promoter bring in with no TV and just ticket sales to paid for everything there is a cost fact to what a guy putting on a show can do.Looking around the hall on Friday night i would believe the promoters would be lucky to break even on this show and with 8 fighters on .

In that case Frank, is there any chance we might see him in with someone other than a fat African or Eastern European car washer in his next fight? You never know, put him in with someone like McDermott or Sexton next and you might find that some of us 'armchair' fans might part with some money and buy a ticket.

Seriously, Frank I don't mean any disrespect but in these times when most people are struggling to make ends meet, your average boxing fan is going to pick and choose his shows carefully. You can't expect to match guys like Dallas (I know you didn't make this last one) and big Pricey against guys they wouldn't even spar and expect the punters to come flocking in!

There are a lot of people who would buy a ticket to watch Price v McDermott in LIverpool I know that for a fact...surely that fight can be made with Dallas v Larry or someone like that on the undercard?

I know it can't be easy but these guys have to step it up and step it up now or people will really start to lose interest in them

Doesn't help when my local venue (Dagenham) has on a non-TV show (Steve Goodwin) the same night as a World Heavyweight Title fight on the TV...
