I hope you've gotten hold of him by now because according to the most recent thread in the records forum you have him down as your trainer and you are making your pro debut in a month!

I saw him fight was on the Hatton-Rowlands undercard at the Manc velodrome. He was fighting Jamie Moore for a "minor" WBU belt. Scott (a wide underdog against the then unbeaten Moore) took an absolute shellacking for the first 4 rounds (was on the canvas a couple times) but came back to knock Jamie Moore out in the 5th. For me, that was the fight of the night. That was proof that it's fighters, not titles, that make fights.

Mind you, Takaloo's 1st round stoppage of Farnell was also good-but not as good as seeing a handfull of Farnell's "fans" running round the cycle track in defiance of the stoppage!!!! :D

He lived in Coatbridge, I used to know the family and we became mates but lost contact .
When we lived in London about 14 years ago he came down to stay with me and the missus. ended up early getting battered in somne west end strip joing but that was another story
He was an amateur then and was thinking about turning pro, eventually did and had three fights, Might have been billed out of airdrie and was with Alex Morrison.

Cheers Mate
