Klitschko v Solis Fox Sports

Post by amwsnw »

I see that Klitschko v Solis has been removed from mainevent (was on there for a day) and is now on Fox Sports from 5.55am WST (9am for those of you in the east). Good for those of us with Fox.

I hope they have a go rather than sit back and look at each other.

That was weird. Solis was winning the first rd then got hit with a short shot ontop of the head ala briggs and went down. Looks like he might have twisted his knee

According to the ring doctor he wrenched his knee. Could it have been a cartilage, the curse of footballers? Solis was willing, he landed some good shots and got up after he went down. We will have to wait for the medical report.

Solis was doing well, he got hit with a sort uppercut fell awkwardly and his leg straightened out. I think he was hurt from the punch a little. But the leg was what stopped him fighting on.

Bad ending to what started out looking very promising.

Well thats interesting. No wonder he couldnt stand on it properley. I hope he gets another shot, as until the injury he was boxing well.

word is that the promoters were well aware of his situation as Solis camp were going to pull the plug but after discussions with Vitali's people they decided not too because they thought it would be okay.
