It's not rocket science mate

Tyson is one of the most famous people on the planet,ie eyes are always on him wherever he goes, always judging him,the average joe can just lay low until the dust settles or eff off away somewhere to change.

Why does that necessarily make it harder to change? George Foreman took himself out of the public eye and came back a very different character, at least publicly. Tyson earned enough money in his life to make choices and get help that the vast majority can't. He made many bad choices in his life and often failed to take responsibility for his actions.

Religion changed George,by all accounts tysons now taking his religion seriously.

Besides I'm not defending tysons mistakes I'm defending his efforts to become a better person which it looks to me like he's now doing, don't you agree?

I do, and as I said previously can only hope it works for him.

The show's alright, although they do some ridiculous editing to stretch into an hour-long show each time. It could be half that, easily. The footage of Brownsville from when Tyson was growing up is rough as shit, mind you, the absolute picture of inner-city decrepitude

He has no choice but to try and be a better person, he needs the money. He's too old and fucked to fight so these tours are all that's left for him.

I commend anyone who holds their hands up, apologises and starts again. Everybody deserves a second chance, but Mike has had about 250 second chances!

That said, people will always come to see him. He'll always have that mystique, he'll never shake it.

BTW...his speech seemed a little clearer on the show, I watched it over the weekend.

PS Before anyone says it I'm well aware the majority of people who do pay to see him, have their photo taken with him and revere him do so because he was the "baddest man on the planet" and feared by all, not because he's on his way to becoming a half-decent human being and a lovely man etc. That's a given.

Hi Neil, how is Gary doing?

Are you one of the team behind the scenes then? He was with Carl Holness on a number of them, not sure who does them now.

It is strange that there are a lot of pigeon fanciers among boxers, not quite sure where or how the connection comes from but here are the confirmed ones off head:

Mike Tyson
Marvin Hagler
George Foreman
Jeff Fenech
Paul Ingle
Paul Smith
