missing a fight for middleweight Mike Nixon?

Post by mikeycarmichael »

I remember a middleweight named Mike Nixon who was the brother-in-law of Jerry Quarry. He sometimes fought at the LA Olympic Auditorium. I remember one fight he had against Rico Dineros in the late 1970s which ended in a draw. Nixon broke a rib during the fight and was unable to sit down between rounds. However, he still managed to tough out a draw. The fight, which was shown on the Boxing From the Olympic, doesn't show up on either fighters database. Does anyone else remember that fight?

I think his record is now complete.
