Who wins Prizefighter?

Post by Camcas »

Wondering who people think will win prizefighter. Obviously Dilks and Reid are favourites but this tournament does throw upsets and im going for Ainscough for the win

Dilksy has got to be favourite. Cant see past him as i dont see how PF format can suit even a prime Robin Reid, let alone a retired porno making one. See him dropping out in first stage unfortunately which isnt how i'd want a decent operator to be remembered.

Reid will be able to knock people daft ( :OhYes: ) when he's 70. I think he'll have too much for any of the others to be honest.

I'd still love to see a 'Journeyman' Prizefighter by the way.

I'll plump for Dilks; if not can see Webb making an impact

I've always liked Reid but he just can't land that big right hand any more.

Someone will outwork him.

I got 20 quid on Tobias but he is a mate

Can't see Reid troubling him unless Tob is silly enough to have the fight in the phonebox, Reid's workrate and timing over the short distance after such a long time out is gonna make it too tough for him.
Dilks is the real danger IMO

I've had a decent sized bet on Webb to beat Reid. Just can't see him getting out of first gear and for a guy who has never been noted for his workrate, with the added ringrust, unless he lands something big he is out imo.

He may look in good nick, but when hasn't he?

I really fancy Webb to get the better of Reid, 18 years age difference is too much to be honest. Dilksy will be too good for him in the semi though and I dont see anyone coming from the other side of the draw and challenging though.

Gonna be interesting to see how Dilks comes after the Chunky loss, but he's better than that performance and I've had a fiver on him with Betfred with home advantage.

Maxwell might be the one to watch on the other half, but I see nobody from that side having enough to win.

2nd is better.

its not the skill level i was talking about it was that it was "interesting"

Good finish from Fielding there in round 2 , never seen him before , he could be a dark horse here

Thought I'd try and get everything in one place.

Well, Maxwell got smashed up by a novice there - bit of a surprise but then again, you never know what you're getting until you've seen them.

Reed needs to get his right hand up, dropping his hands backing off

there was already a thread , anyway , i found the first bout entertaining and it was a good finish from fielding , who could be a dark horse .

After 1 round of the second bout Reed has certainly shown he has a chin , he has took two very solid punches that i expected to have knocked him out but he didnt budge
