Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
I hope reid is not to ambitious with his comeback, because he will get eaten alive by any good super-middleweight today.

You can definitely tell Macca is draining.

Yes, he looks like Inspector Gadget!
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
But his reaction at the end of the fight didn't suggest he thought he'd won.

Webb looks a good super-middle; This is a decent Prizefighter (again)-KOKid- wrote:I hope reid is not to ambitious with his comeback, because he will get eaten alive by any good super-middleweight today.
(There're some excellent and game boxers just below the radar of the 'ordinary' boxing fan; it's a delight to see them box).

What the fcuk in hell went on with the scoring in the Ainscough-Reed fight????
This sport never ceases to amaze me
Glyn Rhodes has get every right to be going psycho.
30-28
29-28
and the winning fighter was knocked down. Marcus McDonnell and Ian-John Lewis should be publicly flogged if that's genuinely how they've scored the fight

Reid later part of career had plenty of fights like that(WBF reign, Magee fight). No surprise for me.

Yes, I'm enjoying this edition of Prizefighter.
Last one was a real letdown after the super-featherweights, which is the all time best PF imo.

Meant the Fielding fight, especially the first round.black panther wrote:Reid later part of career had plenty of fights like that(WBF reign, Magee fight). No surprise for me.Scottrf wrote:Was noone else shocked at how horrible the first fight was then? Ugly, ugly fight.

I thought the lad did very well to stop Maxwell; he'd had 3 pro bouts. Fielding looked good but I think that Webb would beat him; (Ainscough fought hard but lost the bout really).

half way through round 2 and im saying smyle wins this tournament , never seen him before tonight i dont think , but he wins this imo , Dilks was my original pick
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
It looks like it's out with 'the old guard'; Carl is getting knocked about. Smyle is a big strong and aggressive man.
