Best shows to get to...
I only managed to get to the upton park show last year, and I wanted to get to a few this year. Question is, what type of shows do i go for? what offers best value for money? I was toying with the idea of the 02in may, but im put off by the sky high pricing, for what will essentially be crap seats. What is everyones take on the best way to get good value for money, while still seeing a cracking show?
Re: Best shows to get to...
I personally think that all the big shows in London are a waste of money. What about York Hall on 2 April.
I the north all is different. The Hatton, VIP and Carl Greaves shows I have been to have all been enjoyable.
The only Hatton show that has been problematic was when they moved south and tried out a show at Dagenham (another top venue).

Depends what you mean by 'value'. If it's loads of fights, the most at the minute are on Steve Goodwin and Frank Maloney shows, probably.
If you mean even matches, just judge on the individual cards. Spencer Fearon's last one seemed good for this (from memory).
If I'm not going to a really big bill, I much prefer to see a few even matches than loads of protected prospect v journeyman.

I would like to see fewer, more competetive matches. At the Upton park show, I remarked how none of the undercard fights were very competetive, then there was the main event.......
I'm from Hertfordshire, so maybe a good solid york hall card would be the way to go, thanks for the info btw.

I wouldn't go to the April 2nd card there then. Some little ones crop up which are decent from the likes of Miranda Carter...just keep an eye on BoxRec's schedulessmoothmoves wrote:I would like to see fewer, more competetive matches.
