Just looked at the results on here&see he retired after 1st round,does anyone know what happend??

Broke his hand in the 1st round so corner retired him.

Pat Barrett says in this interview that he had to persuade Rhys not to fight on and cause more damage to the hand. Apparently its the 2nd time he's broke it which isn't good news.

Just been chatting to a pal of his; did he catch his hand on the top of Sassou's head? Ouch.

Shame this, he's a cracking little fighter and a really nice kid.
