Ive noticed on McGoorty's record, and now a wikipedia page dedicated to him, and flickr, it being stated that Eddie McGoorty's birth name was Eddie Van Dusart... Im curious where this got started because McGoorty's birth name was NOT Van Dusart. His birth name was Edward Martin McGoorty. He came from the well known McGoorty family of Eureka. His father was a well known professional Wrestler, and his grandfather was also well known and respected in the community. They owned farm land, a tavern, and a hotel. Im not sure where the name "Van Dusart" filtered in but the McGoorty's were always McGoorty's.
