Great show, but appalling treatment of the fans

no offence to the guy but i was quite pleased to see Matt Seawright getting stopped by a debutant

I've seen this guy rough up and spoil quite a few inexperienced pros, nice to see someone who didn't get taken out of the fight by Seawright's patented shoulder/elbow to the head combination.

Yeah- it's appalling treatment of the fans- starting the boxing before letting people through the doors? WTF???? I've been to one where action started exactly at 6, when doors we just being opened.

It's good that this has been raised, this sort of thing needs addressing. It's just something that proper planning could sort out.

Interesting point about Seawright...just think maybe I grew up with the 'negative' journeymen too much...he gives it a go!!!

This is not the first time this has happened on a Hatton Show. When Matthew Hatton boxed in Dagenham they started boxing atthe same time the doors opened (1.5 hours late) and most people missed the first fight and half. It is not acceptable when boxing is struggling to get fans (outside the boxers own supporters) into small hall shows.

It just puts people off coming back.

only man I've ever seen win a fight without landing a punch. landed pretty well with his shoulder and elbow, though.

Good piece. If fans shelled out to see the undercard fighters, then it's appalling, and either Sky or Hatton Promotions (who get the Sky money) should compensate them, if its down to them. A big disappointment for the boxers as well, surely.
