Juan Rolden Knockdown of Hagler

Post by BrocktonBlockbuster49 »

Now, I barely ever see Hagler hurt, and the possibility of him being knocked out was impossible. But I saw Hagler did suffer 1 knockdown of his career and it was agaisnt Juan Rolden. I heard that this was a questionable knockdown and should not have been called a knockdown but i never seen it.

so im asking was it a legit knockodwn??? what did rolden hit him with???

Clear slip/push, no real knockdown, and certainly wasnt hurt.

Hagler after the fight even tried to get it officially changed to a slip but the sanctioning bodies wouldn't do it.Definetly not a knockdown.

It was a slip.

Hagler was in no way hurt, stunned or shaken in any way.

The look of disbelief on Haglers face when the ref starts a standing eight count was almost funny.

It was simply a mistake by the referee.

Hagler and his trainers have always claimed The Marvelous One was never down 'legit' as an amateur, professional or even sparring.

Had this one on tape and agreed, nowhere even close to being a KD. Half punch followed by Roldan pulling Hagler from behind the back of the head where his glove happened to be, at the time
