Only 4-0-1 as a pro.

Kenny Klingman was I believe 19 or 20 and 0 with all kos. He retired to become a police officer.

According to Boxrec's short biography on Hinton he retired from boxing for religious reasons.

Yep JD......he decided he wanted to focus on family life.

Now the way I see it, if family life should go south, he can cash in on his perfect record with a return bout and probably make some money.

Certainly a talented promoter could "squeeze" some money from the public somehow based on his story.

Harry Simon is another obvious one who often gets completely overlooked.

Another obscure oldtimer is Young Mitchell.

King Carlos wrote:Jimmy Barry. First ever Bantamweight champion under Queensbury rules, although at the time it was considered Paperweight, I believe, and in fact dealt with men even smaller than the current Strawweight class. Barry was around 100 pounds in his prime. Anyways, career record of 59-0-10, with his last 8-9 fights being little more than exhibitions; agreed upon draws.
That is impressive. I was going to pose the question of who was the earliest fighter that could be found.

Could this be it?

PRIME Tyson was the Spinks fight right?
I always class Tyson's career as pre and post Michael Spinks, up until that point he seemed invincible. We all know what happened after that haha!!!

Hey boxing fans all over the world. This is Jemal "The Bodysnatcher" Hinton here to set a few things straight. First of All, I'd like to extend my deepest gratitude to All the boxing Fans who I made a strong impression on during my boxing career as an amateur and professional boxer. To the point where the memory of me still at times crosses your mind.

The first thing that I'd like to correct is on my profile page it reads that I was born in District Heights, MD and that my residence was Detroit, Michigan. This is incorrect. The correct information is that I was born in Brooklyn, NY and at the time of my professional career I lived in District Heights, MD. I would occasionally travel to Detroit, Michigan to train for an up and coming boxing match. :bag: The last correction for this time is that I "Did Not" retire for religious reasons.

I'll be willing to share more with you at a later time. Upon the request of those who are interested. I'll be interested in answering almost any question to the best of my ability.

It was most certainly an enlightening 20 years.

Best undefeated fighter I ever saw, & it ain't close, was Ricardo Lopez. Should he remain undefeated, only Floyd Mayweather will be his competition for that mantle.

Lost early in his career. Supremely underrated, regardless. Genuine all timer.
