it looks well short of ppv now with macklin v gevor and crolla v rees off, but we might still see crolla and munroe has been added to the bill. Watson v Purdy will be good and still good to have a look at upcoming guys like Murray and Quigg.

Berto v Oritz on same night, both have been on Sky in recent fights, any chance Sky will get that?

Dodson was offered this fight too.

WBA 168 - I know they have seven champions in this division - the WBA this is, so can't be arsed to look up who it is.

Are you talking macklin here though?!If so I would of thought Macklin would of competed for a title at middle not super-middle.Aside from that the WBA regular champion is dimitri sartison who i thought was fighting a unification bout against stieglitz.

There're some interesting bouts there and there may be some drama; not 15 quid worth though :(

if it was something with hattons why even bother announcing him?

this was supposed to be an eliminator for wba, but n'dam n'jikam has an interim wba title as well and is defending it saturday, the thing is ridiculous.

Sorry girls. It was Tony Dodson...and I wasn't thinking straight, i.e. neglected to notice the obvious fact that Macklin is at 160.

He was offered it in the last 48 hours - he cant make 168 pounds without having an operation.

I dont understand that because sartison who is the regular WBA champion is supposed to be fighting Stieglitz in a unification fight so that makes no sense

Its just for the WBO title. Saritson has been stripped..... but didn't know this news about Dodson. I wonder if another Brit can get involved - Smith, Quigley, Kenny Anderson etc.
