Ha ha - I'll never slag Brady off, even though a lot of his writing wasn't to my taste. One of the most hardcore boxing writers ever the way he faced down bullying. I remember him getting done for calling some South Pacific fighter a cannibal or something.
he was a character for sure - and he clearly loved boxing... RIP

Very good article Ian, nice intro to it with the "What on earth was Big bad John doing at Buck House?" line :TU:
He's an interesting character, I remember a profile with him and he was painting water colours at the time.

At least Larry O can take heart from the thought that his recent conqueror, came back from a one round blast out himself.

Great talent, and very fit, but he'll eventually go down as someone who underachieved, primarily down to the fact he loves eating his own weight in pancakes.... daily.
