Ryan Walsh on the Murray undercard
Ryan Walsh on the Murray undercard
Yet another win for the Walsh brothers. A very good win for Ryan (twin brother of Liam Walsh) against a durable brawler in Gavin Ried. Walsh gave away height, reach and (one would guess) weight in this bout but managed a 7th round KO. What next for Walsh in the super-bantamweight division (although boxrec have him as a featherweight)? Where can he go next if he is after a title?

Re: Ryan Walsh on the Murray undercard
You spoiler bum :) Am watching the bout now as I type. (Walsh is very good mind).
Re: Ryan Walsh on the Murray undercard
Walsh did look very impressive. Constant thrower.
Re: Ryan Walsh on the Murray undercard
Walsh looked good. He was a couple of levels above his opponent. What weight does he fight at?....somebody above mentioned the phrase "constant thrower".....in an uncanny coincidence, one of the most impressive shows of constant throwing I have seen in recent British times was when John Murray hammered Scotty Lawton (lol I can hear Choi's lyrics in my head when I call him Scotty
)....
now I don't know if there's much weight between them but someone like Murray would have crushed Walsh. I can't take anything away from the Walsh fighter who seemed to conduct himself well but for me - after the scenes of 2 years ago where one of the Walshes (I know not which) started to show off and try to humiliate his foreign journeyman opponent (who looked literally confused at this prat's antics)...I will never, ever attend a boxing show that involves a Walsh and their band of travelling friends.
That's what's called negative PR boys...... learn about it.![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)
